Palgongsan Mountain is a famous mountain in Daegu reaching heights of 1,192 meters. The road from Donghwasa Temple till Grotto of Amitabha Buddha Triad, Gunwi is the popular path with the car driving visitors. You are suggested to follow the comfortable driving course from Donghwasa Temple, passing by Sutae-gol, Pagyesa Temple and reaching the 3-fork of Guryongsa Temple. There are other courses towards Gunwi Samjon Grottoes, Gasan Sanseong and Songlimsa Temple. It’s also a famous Buddhism cultural center with various scattered temples in the mountain, like Gatbawi, Donghwasa Temple, Pagyesa Temple,Buinsa Temple, BukJijangsa Temple, Gwaneumsa Temple and Gwan-am. There are mountains of rocks and streams here, where you can appreciate the azaleas covering the whole mountain in spring, frondent jungle and limpid stream sound spreading around the mountain in summer, the amazing maple leaves overspreading the ring road in autumn, forming an amazing scenery line.

Biseulsan Mountain Country Park

This park was designated as an the Dalseong-gun military park in 1986. It is a predominantly soil mountain, which boasts rich terrain and a natural forest. The resort is an ideal place for relaxation and respite. It is filled with blooming flowers in spring, offers a beautiful fog-filled valley in summer, falling leaves in autumn, and an ice-capped mountain in winter.

Apsan Cable Car

Apsan Cable car is located in Keungol Jarak-gil(road) near War Memorial Museum of the Nakdonggang River Battle inside Apsan Park, Daegu. 48 people can get on the cable cars and it takes about 5 minutes one way at a speed of 3.5 meters a second. The cable car fare is 7,000 won for one way and 9,000 won for a round trip for a person and 6,500 won for one way and 8,500 won for a round trip for a group. Child gets a 2,000 won discount. People are able to be moved deeply when they get to the top of the mountain taking cable cars and then look out picturesque scenery of Daegu before their eyes. People can relieve their stress and be rejuvenated by taking breaths of fresh air as much as they want in the dense forests.

Suseongmot Lake Resort

This park was designated as an official Daegu Park in the 1940’s, and was subsequently expanded to make it into a complete tourism and rest attraction for citizens and visitors alike. The natural landscape of the park is quite breathtaking, with mountains surrounding the picturesque Suseong Lake, on which visitors can enjoy paddle boats. To the west of Suseong Lake, there is Suseong Land, which boasts many attractions and amusement park rides.

Dalseong park is the oldest park in Daegu. It was created in 1905, and reconstructed in 1965 as part of Daegu"s plan to create a new comprehensive park. It currently holds a grass plaza, a complete culture center, a zoo, and various memorials. Gyeongsang-gamyeong Park

Gyeongsang-gamyeong Park was the first site of Gyeongsang-gamyeong(Gyeongsang Provincial Governor"s office) in Daegu which was moved to present place 400 years ago. This park was built with the name of the Jung-ang Park in 1970. The walls of the park were demolished and the park was reopened with various facilities to preserve this site forever in October, 1997. There are Seonhwadang hall which was the governor"s office(Daegu Tangible Cultural Asset No.1), Jingcheonggak pavilion which was governor"s house(Daegu Tangible Cultural Asset No.2), and 29 monuments that explain the governors" achievements. There are a hexagonal-shaped bell pavilion in wood and a Citizens" Tree statue in the park. This park has a green forest, beautiful flowers, clean, wide and grassy lawns, a fountain, peaceful walks, and a lot of benches, This is a good place for citizens to take some rest. Gukchae-bosang Memorial Park

This park was created in 1999 to honor the Gukchae-bosang Movement in 1907 and overcome the IMF financial crisis by gathering gold event in 1997. The parking lot with three underground floors, provides space with citizens, and adjacent to library, which many young people visit.

Daegu Tower (83 Tower)

The Daegu Tower (height 202m ) is located on European style theme park inside Duryu Park. It is a tourist attraction where you can look over the whole city of Daegu. The traditional architectural beauty of the tower has been reproduced and its Dabotop pagoda shape has been recreated. The west part of Daegu Tower (total area: 1,653,965㎡) has Duryusan, Seongdangmot and Daegu Culture and Arts Center where the tourists could enjoy various performances, exhibitions and events. There are citizen physical training facilities including a multipurpose sports field, a swimming pool, a soccer field, a tennis court, a baseball stadium, an inline skating rink, etc. There are symbolic commemoration spaces such as a 2.28 monument, statues of people and a sculpture park. Sincheon Stream

The river is a lifeline covering and encompassing the center of the city. Sincheon is providing river scene and crossing the center of a city. It started from the south part of Biseulsan Mountain’s top. When it reaches to the Yonggye, Gachang, it meets Daecheon which is located in a point near Paljoryeong. After joining these two rivers, it is passing the Chimsan-dong and reaching to the Geumhogang River. The total length of this local stream is 12.5km and the basin area is 165. 3㎢. There are 13 bridges with special roads crossing the river where the tourists can take a rest or work out by walking or riding bicycles. In particular, there are a cool swimming place in summer and a flavor skating rink in winter which can remind your childhood memories. In addition, there are a social space for outdoor stages and festival places. It is attached great importance for an ecological river in harmony with nature

After joining these two rivers, it is passing the Chimsan-dong and reaching to the Geumhogang River. The total length of this local stream is 12.5km and the basin area is 165. 3㎢. There are 13 bridges with special roads crossing the river where the tourists can take a rest or work out by walking or riding bicycles. You are suggested to follow the comfortable driving course from Donghwasa Temple, passing by Sutae-gol, Pagyesa Temple and reaching the 3-fork of Guryongsa Temple. There are other courses towards Gunwi Samjon Grottoes, Gasan Sanseong and Songlimsa Temple. Biseulsan Mountain Country Park

This park was designated as an the Dalseong-gun military park in 1986. It is a predominantly soil mountain, which boasts rich terrain and a natural forest. The resort is an ideal place for relaxation and respite. It is filled with blooming flowers in spring, offers a beautiful fog-filled valley in summer, falling leaves in autumn, and an ice-capped mountain in winter.

Apsan Cable Car

Apsan Cable car is located in Keungol Jarak-gil(road) near War Memorial Museum of the Nakdonggang River Battle inside Apsan Park, Daegu. 48 people can get on the cable cars and it takes about 5 minutes one way at a speed of 3.5 meters a second. The cable car fare is 7,000 won for one way and 9,000 won for a round trip for a person and 6,500 won for one way and 8,500 won for a round trip for a group. Child gets a 2,000 won discount. People are able to be moved deeply when they get to the top of the mountain taking cable cars and then look out picturesque scenery of Daegu before their eyes. People can relieve their stress and be rejuvenated by taking breaths of fresh air as much as they want in the dense forests.

Suseongmot Lake Resort

This park was designated as an official Daegu Park in the 1940’s, and was subsequently expanded to make it into a complete tourism and rest attraction for citizens and visitors alike. The natural landscape of the park is quite breathtaking, with mountains surrounding the picturesque Suseong Lake, on which visitors can enjoy paddle boats. To the west of Suseong Lake, there is Suseong Land, which boasts many attractions and amusement park rides.

Gyeongsang-gamyeong Park

Gyeongsang-gamyeong Park was the first site of Gyeongsang-gamyeong(Gyeongsang Provincial Governor"s office) in Daegu which was moved to present place 400 years ago. This park was built with the name of the Jung-ang Park in 1970. The walls of the park were demolished and the park was reopened with various facilities to preserve this site forever in October, 1997. There are Seonhwadang hall which was the governor"s office(Daegu Tangible Cultural Asset No.1), Jingcheonggak pavilion which was governor"s house(Daegu Tangible Cultural Asset No.2), and 29 monuments that explain the governors" achievements. There are a hexagonal-shaped bell pavilion in wood and a Citizens" Tree statue in the park. This park has a green forest, beautiful flowers, clean, wide and grassy lawns, a fountain, peaceful walks, and a lot of benches, This is a good place for citizens to take some rest. Gukchae-bosang Memorial Park

This park was created in 1999 to honor the Gukchae-bosang Movement in 1907 and overcome the IMF financial crisis by gathering gold event in 1997. The parking lot with three underground floors, provides space with citizens, and adjacent to library, which many young people visit.

Daegu Tower (83 Tower)

The Daegu Tower (height 202m ) is located on European style theme park inside Duryu Park. It is a tourist attraction where you can look over the whole city of Daegu. The traditional architectural beauty of the tower has been reproduced and its Dabotop pagoda shape has been recreated. The west part of Daegu Tower (total area: 1,653,965㎡) has Duryusan, Seongdangmot and Daegu Culture and Arts Center where the tourists could enjoy various performances, exhibitions and events. There are citizen physical training facilities including a multipurpose sports field, a swimming pool, a soccer field, a tennis court, a baseball stadium, an inline skating rink, etc. There are symbolic commemoration spaces such as a 2.28 monument, statues of people and a sculpture park. Sincheon Stream

The river is a lifeline covering and encompassing the center of the city. Sincheon is providing river scene and crossing the center of a city. It started from the south part of Biseulsan Mountain’s top. When it reaches to the Yonggye, Gachang, it meets Daecheon which is located in a point near Paljoryeong. After joining these two rivers, it is passing the Chimsan-dong and reaching to the Geumhogang River. The total length of this local stream is 12.5km and the basin area is 165. 3㎢. There are 13 bridges with special roads crossing the river where the tourists can take a rest or work out by walking or riding bicycles. In particular, there are a cool swimming place in summer and a flavor skating rink in winter which can remind your childhood memories.
