Officially opened on June 3, 2016, Seomun Night Market is Korea’s largest outdoor night market. Now one of Daegu’s major public and tourist destinations, the market offers a wide range of merchandise and street food and serves as a venue for various public performances and art exhibitions. Open every night from 19:30 to 24:00 (or until 24:30 on Friday and Saturday nights) all year round, Seomun Night Market is located across the street from the Seomun Market Dried Seafood Mall. A total of 80 vendors, managed by the Global Premium Market Business Group, serve the market’s patrons every night. Of these, 65 are food vendors offering a broad array of local, fusion, and international dishes, while the remaining 15 vendors offer handcrafted and manufactured goods.
